Welcome to Japan.
My name is Naomi from Kenya. I have been living in Japan for more than 7 years. For my 1st year took Japanese language lessons where I improved my Japanese and embraced the Japanese cultures, traditions and their lifestyle. Afterward I took hotel management course for 2 years.
I got a job at Sendai Kokusai hotel where my love for this country continued to flourish. My experience working at Kokusai have broaded my knowledge and improved my ability my guests service skills. Not to mention my ability to adjust to people from all sorts of
grounds. My job work friends, hotel management, and close friends that I have made here in Sendai, I was able to build a life here and I real love Sendai.
Well my life was fine in Sendai until we had the earthquake and I was forced to go back to Kenya because my embassy was so concerned about the nuclear crisis. Since the business was abit slow I stayed in Kenya for approximately for 10 weeks. While I was in Kenya I realized how much I missed my new real home Japan and I could not wait to my return back to this country. And because I was still in Kenya I did not know what to expect when I returned. I got back here about 3 weeks ago and was so surprised to see how life gotten back to normal. I truly hope that word gets out how people have gotten back on their feet and how they are truly close to being normal again. Am so happy get back to work to pull my life together.
I would love to welcome back to Japan and especially Sendai city, all businessmen, tourists to beautiful country of Japan believe me things are normal here and nothing to worry about. You will admire how Japanese people are cheering up day by day..
All we need is give Japanese Love and support.
Looking forward to see you here in Sendai city.
